Senior Business Development Representative (DACH)

✨ Core Mission

As a Sr BDR, your mission is to energise our revenue engine by identifying, engaging, and qualifying B2B prospects in the DACH region, with an emphasis on the German market. You will be the first point of contact for potential customers, using structured research and targeted outreach to uncover opportunities and align Hack The Box solutions with their needs.

Beyond outreach, you’ll contribute to a predicable sales pipeline, focus on high-quality prospect discovery, and collaborate with Sales and Marketing to refine strategy and execution. Ensuring well-qualified leads move seamlessly to Account Executives, you’ll directly impact the efficiency and success of the entire sales ecosystem.


Location & Work Mode

  • Based in UK, but fully remote.
  • Full-time position.

🏢 Fellowship You’ll Join

You’ll be part of a diverse, international Sales Development function operating across multiple regions. Your daily collaborations will include:

  • The Global Head of Business Development (your manager).
  • Regional Account Executives.
  • Revenue Leadership.
  • Marketing & RevOps.

Together, you and the team will grow Hack The Box’s presence in Europe.

You'll utilise platforms such as:

  • HubSpot, Apollo, Gong, LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
  • Prospecting, sales enablement, and automation tools tailored to your work.

🚀 Role Adventures

Your responsibilities include:

  • Setting up initial engagements for new prospects.
  • Building and maintaining a structured and effective sales pipeline.
  • Conducting early stage discovery calls to determine customer needs.
  • Testing and refining outreach strategies (including emails, call scripts, and sequences).
  • Coordinating with Marketing in designing outbound initiatives.
  • Representing Hack The Box as a knowledgeable and confident brand spokesperson.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

  • Be an authoritative first point-of-contact.
  • Develop and maintain a quantitative sales pipeline.
  • Engage in early-stage prospect outreach and needs assessments.
  • Refine outreach effort (through email, phone scipts, sales workflows).
  • Partner with Marketing for outreach campaigns.
  • Role as a brand ambassador through company knowledge sharing.

⚔️ Qualifications & Experience Requirements

To ensure a seamless fit for the role:

  • Native or highly fluent in German with expert-level understanding of German business culture, media, and engagement norms.
  • Previous commercial practice in the German market (examples: sales, partnerships, account management).
  • High initiative, pro actively and strategic interests.
  • Strong time management and organizational proficiency.
  • Capable of starting conversations with unfamiliar contacts.
  • Inherently team-oriented mindset and excellent collaboration skills.
  • Familiarity with CRM or automation sales platforms (advantageous).
  • Aptitude for or interest in cybersecurity (optional).
  • Proficient verbal and written English (full compatibility).
