- Flexibility: Happy to discuss flexible working arrangements
- Team: Finance – Management Information

About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to join our Finance Business Intelligence team.
This newly created role is pivotal in transforming our approach to reporting, shifting from manual, fragmented legacy systems towards a modern, automated, and insight-driven model that empowers real-time decision-making.
The role involves delivering end-to-end Power BI reporting, turning financial and operational data into clear, actionable insights. You will replace manual processes with scalable, automated solutions, develop Power BI dashboards, improve reporting, and enhance self-service analytics.
This is an opportunity to collaborate closely with stakeholders, champion self-service BI, and help shape the future of the Finance BI function.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deliver end-to-end Power BI solutions, covering data ingestion, transformation, and production-ready dashboards.
- Apply strong data visualisation and UX principles to ensure insightful and user-friendly outputs.
- Transition from Excel-based manual processes to automated, reusable reporting solutions to enable enterprise self-service analytics.
- Develop scalable Power BI models using Power Query and best-practice DAX, prioritising accuracy, usability, and maintainability.
- Use SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis to support reporting needs.
- Maintain, enhance, and gradually modernise existing SSRS reporting.
- Document datasets, measures, models, and reports clearly for auditability, knowledge transfer, and future maintenance.
- Analyse financial and operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, then present recommendations to stakeholders.
- Champion and embed self-service BI across the organisation, driving adoption and improving data literacy.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective analytical solutions.
- Assist the team with legacy reporting.
- Contribute to the strategic growth of the Finance BI function, with potential to shape team structures and capabilities.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
