Everything that makes you unique is welcome; join us and let’s build what’s next - together! At Anaplan, we are looking for a Senior Business Intelligence Developer/Analyst to act as a data domain holder for our engineering reporting and insights within the GPTO (Product and Technology) department. Sitting within our Engineering Enablement team, you won't just be fulfilling requests—you will own high-visibility data domains end-to-end. As our engineering and AI capabilities grow, the demand for clear, actionable intelligence has skyrocketed. We have around 190 KPIs across delivery, quality, investment, and AI adoption that need a true owner. This role is key in enabling and measuring the success of Anaplan’s internal AI initiatives. We need someone who can take a vague question from leadership, figure out the underlying business problem, model the data, build the semantic layer, and deliver self-serve insights that actually make sense. Your Impact Act as a "data domain holder" for 2-3 subject areas (e.g., executive scorecards, dependency health, investment mix, or DORA performance) from raw data to final stakeholder presentation. Design, build, and document semantic layers that outlast you, abstracting complex data from tools like Jira and GitHub into simple, self-serve reporting. Partner with senior engineering leaders to translate ambiguous business questions into specific, defensible data answers. Consult and push back on requirements, identifying the most useful metrics and deciding what should and shouldn't be measured. Combine traditional metrics and AI telemetry to create meaningful measures of Anaplan's internal AI initiatives Build and own the dashboards tracking delivery, quality, dependency, investment, and AI adoption metrics. Advise the team on the evolving AI/BI tooling landscape (Rovo, Atlassian Intelligence, embedded AI), helping decide when to build versus when to consume. Coach and mentor junior analysts, championing data best practices so outputs remain clean and consistent as tool access broadens. Your Skills 5–8 years of experience building production BI in a fast-paced software or tech environment. Deep SQL expertise and demonstrated comfort with dimensional modelling against warehouses with hundreds of tables. Hands-on experience with enterprise BI tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, or eazyBI. Strong working knowledge of engineering intelligence, including DORA metrics, value-stream measurement, and CI/CD pipeline data. Excellent communication and consulting skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders, shape ambiguous requirements, and explain data limitations to executives. High autonomy and the ability to own a domain end-to-end without needing a large support team. Desirable Familiarity with the Atlassian data model (Jira, Confluence, Jira Align, JSM Assets). Background in a software development agency, SaaS environment, or a setting requiring you to manage multiple stakeholders and shifting priorities. Proficiency in Python for more complex data transformations. Our Commitment to Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEIB) We believe attracting and retaining the best talent and fostering an inclusive culture strengthens our business. DEIB improves our workforce, enhances trust with our partners and customers, and drives business success. Build your career in a place where diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging aren’t just words on paper – this is what drives our innovation, it’s how we connect, and it contributes to what makes us a market leader. We believe in a hiring and working environment where all people are respected and valued, regardless of gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, religion, ethnicity, age, neurodiversity, disability status, citizenship, or any other aspect which makes people unique. We hire you for who you are, and we want you to bring your authentic self to work every day! I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
