Job Overview/Purpose
We are seeking a high-impact Business Applications Senior Business Manager to support growth across our Business Applications professional and managed services portfolio. This role focuses on identifying, developing, and closing services-led opportunities, working closely with account teams, solution architects, and delivery leaders.
The ideal candidate combines strong Microsoft Dynamics Business Applications knowledge with a consultative, services-oriented sales approach, capable of engaging senior stakeholders and translating risk into clear business value.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a high level of understanding of Transparity services with a specific focus on Microsoft Business Applications offerings and be able to present these in context to the client’s requirement.
- Develop new client relationships through targeted business development campaigns.
- Work proactively with every assigned client to explore how they can realize more value from the Dynamics 365 and the Power Platform and consume more of Transparity’s services.
- Proactively stay current with Microsoft planned releases and consider how these could benefit or impact Transparity clients.
- Work with the Marketing Team to develop campaign activity to our customers and to feedback on requirements for sales enablement materials.
- Act as a point of contact for assigned clients regarding urgent issues.
- Work closely with Practice Directors to scope customer engagement based on the Transparity service offerings.
- Keep our CRM system up to date with all details of clients, contacts, sales activity, and client feedback.
- Develop a qualified pipeline providing 3-time cover of quota target.
- Produce accurate sales forecasts.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual margin targets by selling Transparity Services and Microsoft Cloud Subscriptions.
- Follow up all sales opportunities within the agreed target times.
- Engage with clients to ensure contract renewals where appropriate.
- Produce high-quality, technically and commercially sound quotations proposals, adhering to company procedures and standards.
- Manage the sales process from initial opportunity through to the securing of the client purchase order.
- Represent Transparity in a professional and positive manner.
- Partner with core account teams to identify, qualify, and progress Business Applications opportunities within existing and new customers.
- Work closely with pre-sales, delivery, and Business Applications leadership to scope solutions, build proposals, and ensure successful hand-over.
- Act as a trusted advisor to customers, building long-term relationships and repeat services engagement.

Skills, Experience, and Qualifications
- Candidates will be educated to degree level or have equivalent experience with a minimum of 2 years’ successful sales experience in an IT/technology field.
- Knowledge and understanding of the CRM/CX/CCaaS services market.
- Ideally, have experience of selling Microsoft solutions, Dynamics 365, Azure, Power Apps Business Intelligence.
- Candidates will also ideally have a strong track record of selling consultancy & Managed Services.
- Account management and solution selling.
- Ability to engage effectively with and influence decision makers and executives.
- Key to success is the ability to assimilate clients’ business pain points, understand the drivers of the business and its strategy, and turn these into a compelling solution.
- Must be a competent writer of business emails, quotations, proposals, and reports.
- Must be an excellent face-to-face and remote communicator.
- Able to demonstrate success and experience of managing mid-sized and major accounts.
- Sales-driven with the ability to identify new business opportunities.
- Excellent negotiation skills with experience of B2B and dealing with key decision makers.
- Well-developed planning and organizational skills.
- Ability to work on own initiative and within a team environment.
- Self-motivated and driven to achieve professional success in a consulting environment.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage workload and time according to deadlines set.
- Self-driven, inquisitive, innovative, results-orientated with a positive outlook and a clear focus on high quality and client satisfaction.
