We’re looking for a dynamic, proactive Senior Business Manager to join the Corporate Banking & Leveraged Finance Business Management team for a period of 18 months. This is a high-profile role at the heart of the business, supporting delivery of the UK Corporate and Leveraged Finance strategy, coordinating activity across a wide range of strategic and operational priorities, and helping to ensure the effective day-to-day running of the business on behalf of the Managing Director. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, varied environment, with a strong delivery focus and a high-performance mindset. In this role you will: Support Strategic Planning and Execution: Supporting the development and implementation of initiatives to deliver the UK Corporate & Leveraged Finance strategy Supporting content creation for regular business updates, soundbites documents and various presentations/updates Business Performance: Summarise complex data into clear, executive-ready insights for senior leadership Provide timely MI that clearly articulates business performance and pipeline, enabling effective challenge and decision-making at senior level Governance: Ongoing support to senior team members to ensure critical topics and emerging issues are effectively prioritised and discussed around the leadership table Tracking of tasks and actions through to completion Support with the creation of briefing notes, talking points and scripts for key internal and external meetings Project Coordination: Supporting senior team members on various ad hoc projects, ensuring timely and successful delivery Ensuring seamless coordination and execution of initiatives, leveraging insights and best practice from other business areas We’re looking for someone who is energised by making things happen and who brings a confident, can-do approach every day. To be successful in this role you should have: Strong planning and organisational skills, with the ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks in a fast-moving environment Excellent attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership Strong influencing skills and the ability to build trusted stakeholder relationships quickly Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly, concisely, and accurately Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Collaborative mindset and positive ‘can-do’ attitude Solid understanding of Excel and PowerPoint, and how to present information for a senior audience Previous UK CMB experience and/or Business Management, COO, Chief of Staff experience is preferable This is a hybrid role, based in London. There may be a requirement for travel to Birmingham on occasion for meetings and collaboration.
