Senior Business Travel Consultant
This award-winning travel management company is seeking an experienced Senior Business Travel Consultant to join their specialist team supporting a prestigious portfolio of corporate clients. This is an exciting opportunity for a travel professional with strong corporate travel and VIP travel management experience who thrives in delivering exceptional service in a fast-paced environment.
Working remotely from home, you will provide a high-touch, personalized service to business travelers and VIP clients, managing complex worldwide itineraries and delivering seamless travel solutions from enquiry through to travel completion. Candidates must have previous corporate travel experience and experience using a GDS system. Sabre experience is preferred, although candidates with strong Amadeus or Galileo expertise will be considered, with full cross-training provided.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage a wide range of corporate, sports and VIP travel bookings, including complex international flight itineraries.
- Provide a professional, consultative service, offering expert advice and tailored travel solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
- Use Sabre GDS to create, amend and manage reservations accurately.
- Source the most suitable fares, routes, and travel options in line with client requirements and company travel policies.
- Handle ticketing, reissues, refunds, and schedule changes efficiently.
- Manage VIP and time-sensitive travel arrangements with exceptional attention to detail.
- Respond promptly and professionally to client enquiries, resolving any issues quickly and effectively.
- Ensure all bookings, documentation, and invoicing are completed accurately and within agreed timeframes.
- Work closely with suppliers and internal teams to deliver a seamless customer experience.

Skills & Experience Required
- Previous experience working within corporate/business travel is essential.
- Experience managing VIP, executive, or high-profile traveller arrangements.
- Strong GDS experience, ideally Sabre.
- Candidates with Amadeus or Galileo experience will also be considered, with Sabre training provided.
- Excellent worldwide air fares knowledge, including reissues and complex itineraries.
- Strong ticketing knowledge and understanding of airline fare rules.
- Exceptional customer service and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Package & Benefits
- Salary circa £34k to £36k, with flexibility for candidates offering extensive experience.
- Fully home-based role (UK only)
- Monday to Friday, 9.00am – 5.30pm.
- Out-of-hours support on a weekend rota approximately 2 to 3 times per year, with additional payment provided.
- Structured training and development, including Sabre cross-training where required.
