Location: Epsom and Barbican, London Working Arrangement: Hybrid Field: Procurement Contract Type: Fixed Term (6 Months) – Full-Time Hours: 37.5 hours per week Salary: Competitive (depending on experience)

We’re seeking an experienced Senior Buyer – Professional Services to join our Procurement team on a fixed-term contract. This is a chance to drive strategic sourcing initiatives, build stakeholder and supplier relationships, and deliver best-value outcomes—all while contributing to our mission of improving lives.
About the Role
As Senior Buyer – Professional Services, you’ll play a key role in sourcing solutions for Corporate Professional Services, ensuring cost efficiency, quality, and performance across the organisation.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercial, collaborative, and impact-driven Buyer to influence decisions, manage supplier risks, and deliver cost reductions while maintaining alignment with business strategy.

Key Responsibilities
- Partner with business stakeholders to analyze strategic procurement needs
- Lead sourcing initiatives and develop category strategies
- Provide market insights and technical expertise to optimize procurement decisions
- Collaborate across Operations, IT, and Professional Services teams
- Identify, assess, and mitigate supplier risks
- Deliver projects using procurement methodologies while driving standardization
- Manage supplier relationships to ensure value, quality, and performance
- Drive cost control, cost reductions, service improvements, and risk management
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience in procurement, preferably within Professional Services or Corporate sectors
- Strong background in sourcing, category management, and supplier relationship management
- Ability to influence stakeholders and work cross-functionally in a dynamic environment
- Commercial acumen, including total cost of ownership (TCO) analysis
- Working knowledge of contract law principles
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Proven ability to deliver results-driven outcomes
