Senior / Graduate Buying Assistant
Role: Full-time/permanent Location: Huddersfield Salary: £25,080
Are you ready to be part of a fast-growing e-commerce business that’s redefining the world of e-tail? We are excited to offer a Senior / Graduate Buying Assistant position on our Appliances team at our Huddersfield Head Office.
About the Role
In this role, you’ll provide essential commercial and administrative support to the buying team, helping to drive performance across the category. Your responsibilities will include:

- Assist with general run rate ordering and pricing activities.
- Conduct competitor analysis to ensure we're always ahead of the game.
- Manage product set-up to provide customers with essential technical information.
- Coordinate with external suppliers and internal teams for efficient returns management.
- Conduct daily analysis of the Trading suite to monitor performance.
- Provide general commercial administration support to Buyers and Senior Buyers.

What We’re Looking For
- Strong relationship-building and influencing skills.
- Commercial curiosity with a genuine interest in retail and e-commerce.
- A confident analytical thinker with strong numerical ability.
- Resilience and adaptability in a fast-moving, change-driven environment.
- A positive, flexible attitude and willingness to learn.
- Previous experience as a Buying Assistant is desirable but not essential.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work both independently.
