About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior C# Developer to join our dynamic team at Triad Group Plc. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects that span the public, private, and third sectors, contributing to the development of innovative digital solutions. As a Senior Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust software applications using the.NET Core framework and associated web technologies such as React, Blazor, and Angular. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and other developers, to understand project requirements, propose effective solutions, and deliver high-quality, scalable code.

This position can be based at client locations, work remotely, or at our offices in Godalming or Milton Keynes. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess relevant academic qualifications such as a degree or equivalent in computer science, software engineering, or related fields. A minimum of 8 years of proven experience in software development, particularly with C# and the .NET framework, is essential. You should have a strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and extensive experience developing enterprise-level applications.

Familiarity with modern web development frameworks such as React, Blazor, or Angular is required, along with experience in working with relational databases like SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL, and ORM frameworks such as Entity Framework. Knowledge of Agile or Scrum methodologies, version control systems like Git, and front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript will be advantageous. Due to the nature of the role, candidates must be willing and eligible to achieve SC clearance, which requires residency in the UK for at least five years and the right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

  • Designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality C# applications and components aligned with project specifications.
  • Writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code following industry best practices and coding standards.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to gather requirements, propose technical solutions, and contribute to the overall architecture of projects.
  • Participating in code reviews to ensure code quality and foster knowledge sharing among team members.
  • Troubleshooting and debugging software applications to resolve issues promptly and optimize system performance.
  • Staying current with emerging trends and technologies in web development and software engineering to continuously enhance our solutions.
  • Documenting technical specifications and contributing to refining development processes to improve efficiency and quality.
