About The Role
Triad Group Plc is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior C# Developer to join its dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects that have a meaningful impact across public, private, and third sectors. As a Senior Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust software applications using the.NET Core framework, complemented by associated web technologies such as React, Blazor, and Angular.
The position involves collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams including designers, product managers, and other developers to understand project requirements, propose innovative solutions, and deliver high-quality, scalable code. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the technological landscape, contributing to the development of secure, efficient, and user-centric digital solutions. This role can be based at client locations, working remotely, or at Triad’s offices in Godalming or Milton Keynes. The salary for this position is up to £65,000, complemented by excellent company benefits designed to support your professional growth and personal well-being.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess relevant training, qualifications, and substantial experience in software development practices. A degree or equivalent qualification related to computer science or software engineering is desirable. Candidates should have at least 8+ years of proven experience as a C# Developer or in a similar software development role, demonstrating a strong track record of delivering complex projects.
Proficiency in C# programming language and the.NET framework, including.NET Core, is essential. A solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles, coupled with experience in agile or Scrum development methodologies, is required. Familiarity with relational databases such as SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL, along with ORM frameworks like Entity Framework, is highly preferred. Additionally, experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, as well as version control systems like Git, will be advantageous.
Candidates should demonstrate excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work are critical attributes for success in this role.
Due to security clearance requirements, candidates must be willing and eligible to achieve SC clearance. To be eligible, applicants must have resided in the UK for a minimum of five years and possess the right to work in the UK.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality C# applications, components, and systems that meet client requirements and industry standards.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards to ensure long-term sustainability of applications.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and other developers, to understand project objectives and deliver innovative solutions.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, consistency, and adherence to security standards, providing constructive feedback to peers.
- Troubleshoot and debug software applications to identify issues, optimize performance, and implement effective solutions.
- Stay current with emerging trends and advancements in web development, software engineering, and related technologies to continuously enhance technical skills.
- Document code, technical specifications, and system architecture to facilitate maintenance and future development efforts.
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement of development processes, methodologies, and team practices to foster a culture of excellence and innovation.
