Senior C# Developer (React / Regulatory Reporting) | London, Hybrid | £135K

Our client is a leading financial services firm, currently looking to bring new ideas, energy, and innovation into their Regulatory Reporting Technology team based in London.

💡 As a Senior C# Developer, you will join a high-performing team responsible for building and enhancing regulatory reporting platforms that support critical front-to-back office functions. You will play a key role in delivering scalable, high-performance systems used for regulatory and client reporting across the business.

You will work closely with stakeholders across technology, compliance, and business teams to deliver robust solutions that meet evolving regulatory requirements. This role offers strong exposure to complex financial systems, data pipelines, and reporting frameworks.

You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining backend services in C#, alongside contributing to modern front-end applications using React. You will also support system improvements, performance optimisation, and ongoing enhancements to ensure reliability and scalability.

As a senior member of the team, you will contribute to architectural decisions, mentor junior developers, and promote best engineering practices across the organisation.

💸 Salary: Up to £135K + Bonus + Benefits (including Private Medical, Pension, 25 Days Holiday & more)

📍 Location: London (Hybrid)

💹 What you need to bring:

Experience / Skills

  • 5+ years’ commercial experience in C# /.NET development
  • Strong experience within financial services, ideally regulatory reporting or similar domains
  • Experience building scalable backend systems and APIs
  • Solid understanding of data processing and reporting workflows
  • Experience working in Agile environments
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams

Technical Requirements

  • C# /.NET (Core /.NET 6+)
  • React (or modern JavaScript frameworks)
  • SQL (SQL Server or similar)
  • REST APIs / Microservices architecture
  • Git / Source Control
  • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS)

Desirable (Not Essential)

  • Experience with regulatory reporting frameworks (MiFID, EMIR, etc.)
  • Exposure to ETL pipelines or data engineering concepts
  • Docker / Kubernetes
  • CI/CD pipelines
  • Python or other scripting languages
