About The Role

Triad Group Plc is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior C# Developer to join their dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge software solutions across various sectors including public, private, and third sectors. The Senior Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust applications using.NET Core frameworks, alongside associated web technologies such as React, Blazor, or Angular. The position can be based at client locations, remotely, or in one of Triad’s offices located in Godalming or Milton Keynes. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements, propose innovative solutions, and deliver high-quality, scalable code that meets client needs. This role provides a platform to influence the technological landscape, contribute to impactful projects, and grow within a supportive and forward-thinking environment.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess relevant academic qualifications such as a degree or equivalent in computer science, software engineering, or related fields. Extensive hands-on experience of at least 8+ years as a C# Developer or similar software development role is essential. Proficiency in C# programming language and the .NET framework, including .NET Core, is required. The candidate should have a strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles, experience working within Agile or Scrum methodologies, and familiarity with relational databases like SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL, along with ORM frameworks such as Entity Framework. Additional skills include excellent problem-solving abilities, effective communication, and the capacity to work independently or collaboratively. Experience with front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, as well as version control systems such as Git, will be advantageous.

Responsibilities

The Senior C# Developer will take ownership of the full software development lifecycle, including designing, coding, testing, and maintaining applications. Key responsibilities include:

  • Writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams including designers, product managers, and other developers to understand project requirements and deliver solutions that align with client expectations.
  • Conducting code reviews to ensure quality.
  • Troubleshooting and debugging applications to resolve issues promptly.
  • Optimizing performance.
  • Staying abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to incorporate innovative solutions.
  • Documenting code and technical specifications.
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies to enhance productivity and quality.
