About The Role

Triad Group Plc is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior C# Developer to join their dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects that make a real difference, ranging from public sector applications to private enterprise solutions. As a Senior Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust software applications utilizing the.NET Core framework alongside associated web frameworks such as React, Blazor, or Angular. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and other developers, to understand project requirements, propose innovative solutions, and deliver high-quality, scalable code.

The position provides flexibility, with options to work remotely, at client locations, or from Triad’s offices in Godalming or Milton Keynes. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess relevant academic qualifications, such as a degree or equivalent in computer science, software engineering, or related fields, with extensive practical experience in software development. A minimum of 8 years of proven experience as a C# Developer or in a similar role is essential. Proficiency in C# programming language and the .NET framework, including .NET Core, is required. A strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles, coupled with experience in Agile or Scrum methodologies, will be highly advantageous.

Familiarity with relational databases such as SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL, as well as ORM frameworks like Entity Framework, is expected. Candidates should demonstrate excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, along with strong communication and teamwork abilities. Knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and experience with version control systems like Git, will enhance your suitability for this role. Additionally, candidates must be eligible for security clearance, with a willingness to obtain SC clearance, which requires residency in the UK for at least five years and the right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality C# applications, components, and systems that meet project specifications and client needs.
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code adhering to best practices and coding standards.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-disciplinary teams including designers, product managers, and fellow developers to understand requirements and deliver innovative solutions.
  • Participate actively in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to ensure code quality and consistency across projects.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve software issues promptly, optimizing performance and reliability.
  • Stay abreast of emerging trends and advancements in web development and software engineering, integrating relevant technologies into projects.
  • Document technical specifications and code thoroughly to facilitate future maintenance and enhancements.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes, methodologies, and best practices, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence within the team.
