The Commodities & Energy Trading firm you’ll join has expanded its tech team dramatically—doubling in size over the past 24 months. As a fast-growing front-runner in the energy sector, they trade a diverse range of energy products (power, oil, gas and derivatives). Having brought all technology development in-house two years ago, they’re now pioneering modernising initiatives across Power, Oil, Gas and broader energy y markets.
/** Role Summary
You’ll be a Senior C# Engineer working on critical front-office trading systems, with a focus on architecture, system design and delivery—not line management. You’ll collaborate closely with the Head of Development & Architecture to interpret business requirements, design technical solutions and deploy robust, scalable systems.

The team runs ETRM/CTRM platforms—prior commodities/energy trading experience is highly valued, ideally with exposure to trade lifecycle processes. Executives note viable alternatives: frontend OMS (Order Management System) candidates from other asset classes will also be considered.
🎯 Responsibilities
- Contribute to architecture and development of front-office trading systems
- Build high-performance, secure and scalable applications
- Partner with architecture/product teams across decision-making processes
- Write clean, production-grade C# code and align with best practises/standards
- Uphold modern engineering standards across platforms
