Senior C# Engineer, Front Office | Commodities & Energy Trading | £140,000 + Bonus + Benefits

Senior C# Engineer, Front Office │ Commodities & Energy Trading

💰 £140,000 + Bonus + Benefits │ Fully Remote (3 days/week in London office)

The Commodities & Energy Trading firm you’ll join has expanded its tech team dramatically—doubling in size over the past 24 months. As a fast-growing front-runner in the energy sector, they trade a diverse range of energy products (power, oil, gas and derivatives). Having brought all technology development in-house two years ago, they’re now pioneering modernising initiatives across Power, Oil, Gas and broader energy y markets.

/** Role Summary

You’ll be a Senior C# Engineer working on critical front-office trading systems, with a focus on architecture, system design and delivery—not line management. You’ll collaborate closely with the Head of Development & Architecture to interpret business requirements, design technical solutions and deploy robust, scalable systems.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
