Senior C# & React Full Stack Developer | Front Office Trading House

A London-based hedge fund is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer with expertise in React (Front End) and C# (Back End) to contribute to their high-performance trading platform. Join a team shaping a Greenfield initiative, influencing everything from architecture to deployment.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and lead in real-time, event-driven UI architectures
- Collaborate directly with traders and stakeholders to capture and refine feedback iteratively
- Drive design discussions, write optimised, maintainable C# and React code
- Mentor junior engineers and guide technical decision-making
- Shape the companyβs tech strategy for scale, performance, and maintenance
- Deliver software powering both internal trading operations and external client solutions

Core Requirements
Technical Skills
- 6+ years of hands-on software development in:
- C# (enterprise applications, ASP.NET Core)
- React.js (modern UI/UX with strong focus on real-time updates)
- Strong expertise in TypeScript and JavaScript frameworks
- Experience with database systems such as:
- SQL Server
- MongoDB
- PostgreSQL
- Proficiency in system architecture & design, including event-driven or microservices approaches
- Deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines and Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Ability to mentor peers and lead tech discussions

Soft Skills & Leadership
- Strong collaboration skills to interface with stakeholders, traders, and other technical teams
- Proven ability to deliver high-integrity software under tight deadlines
- Passion for financial technology (a trading background not required, but curiosity helps!)
