Role Description

As a CAD Configuration Engineer, you will support and evolve our engineering design ecosystem in the mechanical CAD domain.

This role sits at the intersection of engineering, IT, and process optimisation—driving the effective deployment, integration, and governance of tools including Teamcenter and Siemens NX.

You will play a key role in enhancing design workflows, ensuring data integrity across the domain, and enabling engineering teams to deliver high-quality, integrated products efficiently.

Core Duties

  • Applying engineering design principles to develop and detail radar mechanical components, sub-assemblies, and assemblies using Siemens NX and Teamcenter
  • Maintaining expertise in Siemens NX, Teamcenter, and related engineering tools, ensuring compliance with standards, best practices, and effective configuration management
  • Collaborating with engineers, designers, and suppliers to support system development, including MCAD–ECAD integration and COTS component selection and validation
  • Creating and managing accurate 3D models, drawings, and engineering documentation, ensuring traceability, data integrity, and high attention to detail
  • Promoting safe working practices while supporting continuous improvement, standardisation, and efficient reuse of engineering designs and data

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
