Senior CAD Designer
What will you be doing?
Prepare design/fabrication drawings of steel structures using Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD software. Prepare offshore installation method sketches and rigging drawings. Interface with other disciplines to obtain input for designs and drawings and to develop clash free designs. Assist in the identification of technical problems and contribute with possible solutions. Conduct self-check and team check on drawing/sketches. Prepare drawings and sketches consistent with good engineering practice and in compliance with company drawing office procedures. Assist Fabrication as required in the resolution of construction difficulties relating to design problems, clashes, etc.

What experience would we like you to have?

Technical education related to mechanical, structural, or civil engineering. Relevant previous design and drafting experience in producing subsea steel structures within the Marine and/or Oil and Gas Industry, including work at senior level Good experience in the use of Autodesk Inventor and iLogic functionality Proficient in the use of Autodesk AutoCAD. Ability to function within a multiple disciplines design team across multiple projects. Ability to prioritise, organise and deliver work to deadlines set by management. Good working knowledge of other non-technical software e.g. MS Office including Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Sound communication skills in English, both verbally and written.
