Senior CAD Designer
What You’ll Be Doing
- Prepare design/fabrication drawings of steel structures using:
- Autodesk Inventor
- AutoCAD software
- Create offshore installation method sketches and rigging drawings
- Interface with other disciplines to:
- Obtain input for designs and drawings
- Develop clash-free designs
- Assist in:
- Identifying technical problems
- Contributing possible solutions
- Conduct:
- Self-check and team check on drawing/sketches
- Prepare drawings and sketches that comply with:
- Good engineering practice
- Company drawing office procedures
- Assist Fabrication as required in resolving construction difficulties related to:
- Design problems
- Clashes and other issues

Experience We’re Looking For
- Technical education related to:
- Mechanical engineering
- Structural engineering
- Civil engineering
- Relevant previous experience in:
- Design and drafting
- Producing subsea steel structures within:
- The Marine industry
- Oil and Gas industry
- Previous senior-level roles
- Proficient in:
- Autodesk Inventor
- iLogic functionality
- Autodesk AutoCAD
- Ability to:
- Function within a multi-discipline design team
- Manage work across multiple projects
- Strong skills in:
- Prioritising and organising tasks
- Delivering work to deadlines set by management
- Proficiency in:
- Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Sound communication skills:
- English (verbal and written)
