We have an exciting opportunity for a CAD/Revit Technician to join our experienced MEP engineering team in our Winchester office. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting the delivery of high-quality building services designs across a wide variety of projects.
You will contribute to projects for an enviable client base, with our team currently delivering new build and refurbishment schemes across sectors including defence, education, residential, and healthcare, among others.
What you need to do to be effective in this role:
- Prepare and develop 2D CAD drawings and 3D Revit MEP models, including general arrangement drawings, sections, details, and schedules, in collaboration with engineers and design teams
- Work closely with MEP engineers and technicians to develop coordinated design outputs in line with project requirements
- Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and external consultants to ensure designs are fully coordinated and aligned with project programmes
- Apply sound technical judgement to ensure all drawings and models are accurate, clear, and meet expected quality standards
- Take responsibility for checking your own work, as well as reviewing outputs from others where required
- Ensure compliance with Ridge document management systems and QA procedures
- Deliver work to agreed timescales, programmes, and budget constraints
- Support and mentor junior team members or apprentices in developing their CAD and Revit skills

The skills and experience you need to have for this role:

- Previous experience as a CAD/Revit Technician within an MEP or building services environment, ideally within a consultancy setting
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit MEP software
- Experience working on UK-based building services projects, including both new build and refurbishment schemes
- Good understanding of MEP coordination within multi-disciplinary project teams
- Ability to manage workload, estimate drawing times, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong team-working skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across disciplines and offices
- Understanding of BIM standards, with the ability to engage with and contribute to national BIM processes
- A proactive approach to identifying and improving workflows and processes within the team
