Essential Skills, you will:
Demonstrate ability in the use of 2D CAD software, such as the latest version of AutoCAD. Be computer literate with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. Be able to support quality, environmental, and information management procedures in line with ISO 9001, ISO 19650, and ISO 14001 standards. Have an understanding of water industry standards and guidance, such as CIWEM and CESWI. Possess a sound understanding of civil engineering design principles and terminology. Have knowledge of UK Water Industry and Sewer Sector Guidance standards relevant to drainage design.

Preferred Skills, ideally you will also:
Have experience working with Common Data Environment (CDE) platforms and workflows, such as Autodesk Construction Cloud or BIM 360. Have practical knowledge and demonstrate proficiency in the use of 3D CAD software, such as Revit, AutoCAD, and Civils 3D. Be familiar with additional water industry standards, such as WIMES. Understand the integration of CAD designs with BIM models. Be familiar with the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations (CDM). Be able to demonstrate a commitment to continuous professional development, staying up to date with industry innovations and CAD software developments. Have knowledge or experience of HazOp and ALM processes. Hold a full UK driving licence and have access to your own transport. Build and maintain positive working relationships with members of the design team, as well as internal and external stakeholders. Lead by example, promoting high standards and supporting the adoption of best practice procedures within the team. Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, with a proactive, positive, and solution-focused approach to work. Show a willingness to learn, develop, and continually improve your skills, while embracing innovative and forward-thinking ideas. Be committed to continuous professional development, keeping up to date with industry innovations, standards, and technological advancements.
