Job Purpose
This is an embedded role working directly within the marketing team of a leading consumer mobile app brand, based at their offices in Canary Wharf.
As a Senior Marketing Operations Manager, you will act as the operational engine behind the marketing function, helping translate business, product, and marketing strategy into integrated plans that deliver clear commercial and customer outcomes. You will work closely with senior stakeholders across Marketing, Product, Commercial, Finance, Legal, and Compliance to drive alignment and ensure seamless execution of high-impact initiatives.
This role requires a strong combination of strategic thinking and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience leading complex cross-functional marketing programmes, balancing long-term planning with hands-on delivery, and ensuring teams remain aligned across priorities, timelines, budgets, and dependencies.
You will be responsible for orchestrating major product launches, integrated campaigns, and marketing initiatives across owned, earned, and paid channels. You will play a central role in connecting stakeholders, managing delivery processes, identifying risks and opportunities, and ensuring campaigns are executed to the highest standard. You will also help improve how teams collaborate, plan, and deliver results in a fast-paced, product-led environment.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Partner closely with the Head of Product Marketing to translate business, product, and marketing strategies into integrated marketing plans aligned to commercial and customer objectives. Own the end-to-end planning and orchestration of major product launches, campaigns, and cross-functional marketing initiatives. Coordinate stakeholders across Marketing, Product, Commercial, Finance, Legal, and Compliance to ensure smooth delivery and alignment. Develop integrated campaign plans that connect activity across owned, earned, and paid channels to deliver cohesive customer journeys. Act as the operational hub for the marketing function, providing clarity around priorities, dependencies, timelines, budgets, and delivery milestones. Support quarterly and annual planning, forecasting, and budget management processes. Partner with channel owners to align campaign objectives, media plans, creative development, and delivery schedules. Drive accountability across teams and ensure high-quality execution across all marketing channels. Collaborate closely with Product teams to understand roadmaps, launch requirements, and delivery processes, ensuring marketing is effectively integrated into cross-functional planning. Monitor campaign and project performance against agreed objectives and provide regular updates to senior stakeholders. Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and trade-offs, recommending solutions to maintain momentum and effectiveness. Work closely with internal creative teams and external agencies to develop strong briefs, manage feedback cycles, and ensure assets are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard. Continuously improve ways of working, helping teams plan, collaborate, and deliver more effectively.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
