Cardiac Physiologist Opportunity
An exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, highly motivated Cardiac Physiologist with a specialist interest in CRM to join our friendly teams across St.Richard's Hospital Chichester and Worthing Hospital.
About Us
We are a forward-thinking department offering a wide range of invasive and non-invasive investigations and therapies including:
- Transthoracic Echocardiography
- Transoesophageal Echocardiography
- Ambulatory Monitoring
- Exercise Tolerance Testing
- Pacemaker, ICD, and Complex device implantation, follow-up, and angiography
We are striving to expand on Physiologist-led services and aim to provide and assist staff in Continuing Professional Development.
The Role
This post would be an opportunity for a Physiologist with core knowledge and skills wanting to progress their career, working cross-site at both St.Richard's and Worthing Hospitals.
Responsibilities
- Assisting in the delivery of a high-quality Cardiac Investigation Service with a predominant interest in progressing skills within the cath lab and cardiac device follow-up
- Being able to perform a wide range of investigations including:
- Echocardiography
- Pacemaker, ICD, and complex device interrogation and follow-up with some supervision
- Assisting in PPM/ICD/CRT device implant procedures
- Assisting in all invasive investigations in the Cardiac Catheter Lab
- Providing comprehensive reports
- Leading in Exercise Tolerance Testing
- Undertaking Holter analysis and reporting
