Cardiac Physiologist Opportunity

An exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, highly motivated Cardiac Physiologist with a specialist interest in CRM to join our friendly teams across St.Richard's Hospital Chichester and Worthing Hospital.

About Us

We are a forward-thinking department offering a wide range of invasive and non-invasive investigations and therapies including:

  • Transthoracic Echocardiography
  • Transoesophageal Echocardiography
  • Ambulatory Monitoring
  • Exercise Tolerance Testing
  • Pacemaker, ICD, and Complex device implantation, follow-up, and angiography

We are striving to expand on Physiologist-led services and aim to provide and assist staff in Continuing Professional Development.

The Role

This post would be an opportunity for a Physiologist with core knowledge and skills wanting to progress their career, working cross-site at both St.Richard's and Worthing Hospitals.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting in the delivery of a high-quality Cardiac Investigation Service with a predominant interest in progressing skills within the cath lab and cardiac device follow-up
  • Being able to perform a wide range of investigations including:
    • Echocardiography
    • Pacemaker, ICD, and complex device interrogation and follow-up with some supervision
  • Assisting in PPM/ICD/CRT device implant procedures
  • Assisting in all invasive investigations in the Cardiac Catheter Lab
  • Providing comprehensive reports
  • Leading in Exercise Tolerance Testing
  • Undertaking Holter analysis and reporting
