About The Role

We are currently recruiting experienced Senior Care Assistants to join a well-established dementia and elderly care service based in Chorley.

This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated Senior Care Assistant looking for consistent ongoing work, with the flexibility of a casual contract while still benefiting from regular hours.

You will be working as part of a caring and supportive team, providing high-quality care and support to elderly residents, including those living with dementia and complex care needs.

Due to increased demand, we are urgently looking for reliable and experienced Senior Care Assistants who are passionate about delivering outstanding standards of care.

The Role Will Include

  • Supporting residents with all aspects of personal care and daily living activities
  • Providing compassionate care to elderly residents, including those living with dementia
  • Leading and supporting care teams during shifts
  • Completing care documentation accurately and professionally
  • Supporting with medication where trained and authorised
  • Promoting independence, dignity, and choice for all residents
  • Ensuring safeguarding, health and safety, and infection control procedures are followed
  • Acting as a positive role model for other members of the care team

About You

We are looking for Senior Care Assistants who have:

  • Previous experience working within elderly care or dementia care
  • Experience working at Senior Care Assistant level
  • A strong understanding of person-centred care
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • The ability to support and guide other care staff
  • A caring, reliable, and professional approach
  • A commitment to maintaining high standards of care
