About The Role
As a Senior Care Assistant at Brize Meadow Lodge, Kindness will be at the core of everything you do. It touches upon every aspect of our care. For you, this means:
- Planning and implementing a high standard of care that provides residents with security, dignity, and independence
- Building strong relationships with residents and their families, ensuring personalised care plans
- Leading a team of Care Assistants and maintaining the highest care standards
- Demonstrating kindness in all interactions—from assisting with mobility to comforting residents at the end of their lives or discussing concerns with families
- Supporting physical and mental stimulation through social, recreational, and medication administration duties
Your responsibilities also include:
- Maintaining accurate records of care performed
- Reporting and escalating concerns relating to safeguarding, including recognising signs of abuse, harm, or neglect
- Regular training, including mandatory safeguarding courses
