Responsibilities

As a Senior Care Assistant, you’ll have a crucial role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care to residents. Your responsibilities include:

  • Providing excellent care and support to residents (physical, emotional, and spiritual needs)
  • Supervising and motivating Care Assistants while contributing effectively to the team
  • Assisting residents with all aspects of their daily care
  • Supporting family members with guidance and encouragement
  • Working alongside trained Nurses and Unit Managers to develop staff members
  • Engaging in daily activities and providing companionship to residents
  • Maintaining strong communication and building effective working relationships
  • Reporting on resident wellbeing and liaising with GPs and Support Managers

Requirements

To apply for this role, you must:

  • Hold a current SVQ Level 3 qualification (Health and Social Care).
  • Have relevant experience in the Care Industry.
