Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Senior Care Assistant role based in Tring. The Senior Care Assistant will support residents with daily living activities such as personal care, mobility, nutrition, and hydration, promoting independence wherever possible. The role includes:

  • Ensuring care plans are followed and updated accurately

Qualifications

  • Experience in residential or dementia care settings, with strong skills in providing personal care and emotional support
  • Ability to supervise, mentor, and support care staff, including delegating tasks and leading by example
  • Competence in documenting care, updating care plans, and communicating clearly with colleagues, residents, and families
  • Knowledge of safeguarding, health and safety, infection control, and person-centered care practices
  • Relevant care qualification (e.g., NVQ/QCF Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care) or working towards it
  • Reliable, compassionate, and respectful approach, with the ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends
  • Right to work in the UK and willingness to complete required training and background checks
