Job Overview

Location: Chichester & Bognor Regis

Access to your own vehicle is required. You must be eligible to live and work in the UK — note: visa sponsorship is unavailable for this role.

  • Part-time Split Role Available as either 20 hours care + 20 hours senior duties or 18 hours care + 18 hours senior duties per week. Includes shared paid on-call rota.

Payment ranges depending on the schedule:

  • Standard rate: £14.25 - £14.80 per hour + travel time + mileage
  • On-call + senior role: £14.75 – £15.20 per hour + paid on-call shifts

About the Role

You will support our team as a Senior Care Assistant, sharing duties with another Senior CareGiver within a close-knit organisation.


Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality, caring assistance to clients
  • Lead by setting the standard for care and teamwork
  • Conduct spot checks and competency sign-offs as needed
  • Mentor and guide new Care Assistants in their training
  • Update client care plans as health/needs evolve
  • Manage and support medication audits for care safety
  • Maintain clear communication with clients, families, and colleagues
  • Carry out client assessments to review suitability and requirements

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • At least 2 years of experience in health and social care
  • Commitment to personal wellbeing and positive wellbeing strategies for clients
  • A passion for excellent care delivery
  • Strong organisational skills, leadership ability, and empathy
  • Basic first aid knowledge (training available)
