About The Role
We are currently recruiting experienced Senior Care Assistants to join a welcoming and supportive dementia and elderly care service based in Lancaster.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Senior Care Assistant who is looking for regular, consistent hours while maintaining the flexibility of a casual contract.
You will play a key role in supporting residents to live with dignity, independence, and choice, while working alongside a dedicated care team to deliver high-quality person-centred care.

Due to increased staffing requirements, we are urgently seeking reliable and compassionate Senior Care Assistants who can provide exceptional standards of care and support.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing high-quality person-centred care to elderly residents
- Supporting individuals living with dementia and age-related conditions
- Assisting residents with personal care, mobility, and daily activities
- Supporting and guiding care staff during shifts
- Completing care records and documentation accurately
- Promoting dignity, respect, independence, and choice
- Supporting with medication administration where trained and authorised
- Following safeguarding, infection control, and health & safety procedures
- Escalating any concerns appropriately to senior staff members
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience working within elderly care or dementia care
- Experience working as a Senior Care Assistant or similar role
- A good understanding of person-centred care practices
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- The ability to support colleagues and work effectively within a team
- A caring, professional, and reliable approach
- A commitment to delivering excellent standards of care
