Senior Care Assistant

** Senior Support Worker – Full-Time Permanent Role**

An exciting job opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Senior Support Worker to join one of the UK’s leading healthcare providers, working at a new nursing and residential care home in Weymouth, Dorset. The home is located in one of England’s most beautiful seaside towns and is set to open soon.


Job Requirements

Essential

  • An NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or an equivalent qualification

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Support Worker, your role will include:

  • Recognising and facilitating the daily needs of residents
  • Conducting formal supervisions and appraisals
  • Contributing to care planning and coaching support workers
  • Promoting the services offered to relatives, prospective residents, and enquirers
  • Updating and writing care plans and resident documentation
  • Making and reporting realistic assessments to ensure continuity of care
  • Administering medication to residents in line with policies and procedures
