Senior Care Assistant – Green Lodge Care Home

Location: Green Lodge Care Home – The Green, Billingham, Stockton-on-Tees, Teesside, TS23 1JS Salary: £14.30 per hour Hours: 22–44 hours per week (full/part-time available), Day Shifts

Join our Team as a Senior Care Assistant and be part of delivering truly exceptional care to our residents. This role is more than a job—it’s an opportunity to lead with compassion, support others, and make a meaningful impact every day.

As a Senior Care Assistant, you’ll hold a key leadership position within our care team, responsible for assessing individual needs, developing person-centred care plans, and ensuring the highest standards of medical, physical, and emotional support. You’ll also supervise and mentor care staff while upholding best practices.


What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leading and supporting the care team to deliver high-quality care
  • Administering medication safely and accurately
  • Monitoring residents’ wellbeing and updating care records
  • Liaising with healthcare professionals and families
  • Supporting residents with personal care, meals, and daily activities
  • Ensuring the home remains clean, safe, and welcoming
  • Promoting dignity, independence, and choice for every resident
  • Participating in audits, inspections, and team meetings

We’re Seeking Someone Who Is…

  • Qualified to Level 3 in Health & Social Care (essential)
  • Experienced in elderly care or dementia support
  • A confident leader with strong supervisory skills
  • Compassionate, patient, and reliable
  • A great communicator and team player
  • Willing to continue learning and developing professionally
  • Previous experience of at least 6 months working as a Senior Care Assistant (essential)
