Senior Care Assistant – Albion Court Care Home

We’re now seeking a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated individual to join our award-winning team as a Senior Care Assistant at Albion Court Care Home in Birmingham.
About the Role
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting and working alongside our care team to deliver high standards of personal care, fostering a safe, caring, inclusive, and open environment for residents, visitors, and staff.
- Monitoring resident wellbeing, identifying any changes affecting care and care plans, and amending records to reflect variations.
- Contributing to the person-centred care planning process, implementing and evaluating plans monthly.
- Assisting residents with their medication requirements.
- Conducting staff supervisions and supporting colleagues’ professional development.
- Acting as the primary point of contact for residents, relatives, visitors, and healthcare professionals, ensuring reasonable requests are addressed and concerns/complaints are escalated appropriately.

About You
To excel in this role, you must embody our values of caring, supportiveness, honesty, respect, and accountability.
Key Requirements:
- A Level 3 NVQ in Care or equivalent qualification.
- At least 2 years’ experience in a similar care environment.
- Strong communicative skills, both verbal and written.
- A compassionate and positive attitude toward supporting residents and staff.
- Flexibility to adapt to diverse responsibilities.
