Senior Care Assistant – HC One

About the Role

As a ** Senior Care Assistant** at HC One, kindness will be at the core of everything you do, impacting Dementia, Nursing, Residential and Specialist care homes. Our residents are individuals with unique stories, making personalised care and connection a priority.

  • Plan and implement care that ensures security, dignity and independence
  • Develop strong relationships with residents and families to create personalised care plans
  • Lead a team of Care Assistants, maintaining the highest standards of care
  • Support physical and mental wellbeing through social and recreational activities
  • Administer medication and assist with daily tasks while prioritising kindness
  • Work closely with the Registered Nurse and Care Manager
  • Maintain accurate records and collaborate effectively within your team

Key responsibilities include building rapport and managing your workload with efficiency, empathy and professionalism.


Ideal Candidate

  • Essential qualifications/experience:
    • Completed Level 2 Diploma/S/NVQ in Adult Social Care (or equivalent)
    • Background in person-centred care planning required
    • Experience and knowledge in caring for people with dementia strongly preferred
  • Desirable attributes:
    • Advanced problem-solving abilities for care-related tasks
    • Clinical support training to progress toward a Level 3 Diploma in Adult Social Care
