Senior Care Assistant – Change Lives in Our Dedicated Residential Care Team
We’re looking for compassionate, motivated individuals who can change lives by bringing comfort and care to our residents in our residential care home in Walton-on-the-Naze, Essex.
Our 24/7 care team ensures our residents—many of whom rely on us for daily support—受 to their best potential. Our purpose-built home offers residential care, dementia care, respite care, and retirement support.

Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, personalised care to residents, promoting their dignity, independence, and overall wellbeing.
- Supervise the Care Team during your shift, including:
- Ensuring health, safety, and security
- Administering medications
- Arranging cover for absent staff
- Assist residents with personal care, including bathing, mobility, and hygiene.
- Support residents with eating, drinking, and daily activities.
- Build strong relationships with residents to provide emotional support, comfort, and reassurance as needed.
- Update and implement care plans tailored to each resident’s needs.
- Encourage independence and community engagement while promoting good health.
- Treat every resident with dignity and as an individual with unique needs.
- Assist in end-of-life care with empathy and professionalism.

You’ll also support with additional duties as required by your manager.
About You
We’re looking for someone who: ✅ Leads with empathy—you love working with older adults and understand their changing needs. ✅ Has qualifications—you either have an RQF accreditation in Health & Social Care at Level 2 or above. ✅ Has experience—you have at least 2 years working as a Senior Care Assistant in residential care. ✅ Is a leader & hands-on caretaker—you’re comfortable leving shifts, taking initiative, and providing direct support. ✅ Works well in a team—you’re adaptable, committed, and eager to contribute to a high-standard care environment.
