Senior Care Assistant – Barchester Care Home
About The Role
As a Senior Care Assistant at a Barchester care home, you'll play a fundamental role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care to our residents. Your responsibilities include:
- Supervising and inspiring a team of Care Assistants
- Working closely with the Deputy General Manager
- Supporting the clinical team in areas such as:
- Medication management
- Care assessments
- Care plans
- Care reviews -Ensuring every resident’s dignity and preferences are respected -Fostering an environment that is warm, welcoming, and vibrant

About You
To excel in this role, we are seeking:
- A qualification such as an NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care
- In-depth knowledge of clinical care for the elderly
- A compassionate, warm-hearted attitude with a focus on:
- Providing individualised care
- Dedication to person-centred support
