About The Role
Our Bank Senior Care Assistant role at Barchester is perfect for those seeking a casual, part-time position with flexible working. You’ll play a vital role in providing quality, person-centred care, ensuring residents' needs are met with dignity and thoughtful support.
Your responsibilities include:
- Supervising and mentoring a team of Care Assistants
- Supporting the Deputy General Manager and collaborating with the clinical team
- Assisting in areas such as medication administration, assessments, care planning, and care reviews
- Cultivating a warm, welcoming, and vibrant atmosphere for residents

About You
To excel as a Bank Senior Care Assistant, we’re looking for:
- A qualification: NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care
- Specialised knowledge of clinical care for the elderly
- Key personal attributes:
- Warm-hearted, compassionate, and committed
- Strong passion for providing individualised care
- Career development opportunities: We offer ongoing training to help you progress into roles such as Care Practitioner, Regional Carer, or nursing.
