As a Senior Care Assistant at a Barchester care home
You'll look after the different needs of our residents to enable us to deliver quality, person-centred care and support. Your role will involve:
- Supervising and inspiring a team of dedicated Care Assistants
- Working alongside the Deputy General Manager
- Supporting the clinical team in areas such as:
- Medication
- Assessments
- Care plans
- Care reviews
To help create an environment that is warm, welcoming, and vibrant, always respecting the dignity and preferences of our residents.

About You
To work as a Senior Care Assistant, you should have:
- A NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care
- Specific knowledge of clinical care for the elderly
