Our core value is "Kindness Is Key", and we celebrate individuality, promote dignity, and ensure every person we care for feels respected and happy.

Responsibilities

As our Senior Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in enriching the lives of our residents by:

  • Supporting, supervising, and training junior or new staff members in all aspects of their work, under the guidance of senior colleagues.
  • Providing assistance to residents with their physical, emotional, and spiritual care needs, ensuring they maintain comfort and dignity.
  • Offering attentive support to residents with limited mobility, physical disabilities, or learning difficulties, utilising any aids available.
  • Closely monitoring residents who may be confused or exhibiting behavioural challenges.
  • Assisting with incontinence care and promoting continence.
  • Providing care and support to residents with progressive illnesses, including assisting with end-of-life care and last offices.*
  • Completing, reviewing, and updating care plans as required, recording daily observations and activities in line with company policies.
  • Enhancing residents’ quality of life by facilitating social activities, encouraging hobbies, and promoting an engaging and inclusive environment.
  • Responding to the nurse call system, greeting visitors appropriately, answering phones, and promptly relaying messages where necessary.
  • Monitoring residents’ well-being and liaising with GPs, managers, and other supporting professionals.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
