About The Senior Care Assistant Role
As a Senior Care Assistant, you’ll leave a lasting impact on our residents’ lives. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Aiding residents’ emotional well-being and social engagement
- Administering and monitoring medication to residents
- Supporting residents during mealtimes
- Mentoring new employees and fostering their growth
- Implementing, monitoring, and reviewing individualised care plans
- Planning, allocating, and supervising the team of care assistants

About You
We’re seeking an individual who is proactive, passionate, and ambitious, committed to shaping the best person-centred environment for our residents. You’ll be valued for your contributions and empowered as a vital part of our team.
Required traits and experience:
- Proven experience as a Senior Care Assistant and team leader, or the ability to step into this leadership role effectively.
- A friendly, compassionate, and responsible attitude—essential for building trust with residents and families.
- Experience administering medication safely and accurately.
- Strong interpersonal abilities to engage with residents, their family members, and staff.
- NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or commitment to working toward this).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
