About our Home:
Kingston House Care Home is situated in the pretty village of Derry Hill, just two miles from the centre of Calne. We offer access to amenities in both the village and nearby town, with easy reach to larger towns such as Chippenham, Melksham, and Corsham.
We provide residential care and dementia care, operating on a long-term or short-term, respite basis. Our care is delivered through:

Job Description: Care Assistant (Informal/Non- nendeed)
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure residents receive the highest standards of care by supporting/assisting with all aspects of daily living
- Supervise junior and new staff members under senior staff supervision
- Respond to the nurse call system, assist as needed, and manage door/telephone duties effectively
- Report residents' well-being, liaise with GPs and support managers
- Conduct regular wellness checks at intervals set by senior staff
- Deliver personal and psychological care in a professional manner, including:
- Medication assistance
- Toileting
- Bathing
- Other care requirements via rota rotation
- Complete required records accurately, including:
- Keyworker documentation
- Changeover logs
- Timely updates per agreed frameworks
