Senior Care Assistant
Brand-new luxury care home | The Bridles Care Home, Dykes Way, Wincanton, BA9 9FQ
£16 per hour (includes £2 per hour night enhancement) + £800 Welcome Bonus
7:30pm – 7:30am (12-hour shifts)
Day shifts and Night Shifts available

What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll take ownership of the night shift while supporting both residents and your team:
- Lead and coordinate the unit overnight
- Support clinical care alongside the Nurse (meds, observations, care plans)
- Guide and mentor Care Assistants on shift
- Deliver high-quality, person-centred care
- Build strong relationships with residents and families
- Ensure smooth, confident handovers
What We’re Looking For
- NVQ Level 3 in Care (or working towards it – we’ll support you)
- Experience as a Senior or ready to step up
- Confident leading a shift and supporting others
- Calm, compassionate and organised — especially at night
- Passion for delivering truly personalised care
