Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the highest possible levels of care are maintained by supporting and assisting residents with all daily living aspects, as needed.
- Supervise and support junior/new staff across all duties, under the guidance of senior team members.
- Manage the Nurse Call system efficiently, providing timely help and support when required.
- Answer the door and telephone professionally, handling messages with promptness and accuracy.
- Monitor and report on the well-being of residents, liaising with GPs and support managers as necessary.
- Conduct regular health and safety checks as requested by senior staff.
- Provide high-quality personal and psychological care, organising practical schedules for:
- Medication management
- Assisting with toileting
- Supporting bathing and grooming needs
- Complete all required records to a high standard, including:
- Updating resident handover notes
- Ensuring Keyworker assessments are fully documented and shared in line with guidelines.
