Night Senior Care Assistant – Full-time (36 hours per week), Night Shifts
Location: Aldergrove Manor, Wolverhampton (WV4 4AD)
About the Role
As a Night Senior Care Assistant, you will deliver high-quality, personalised care and support to residents during night shifts. Your responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring residents' privacy, dignity, and independence are upheld
- Supervising and leading the night team and shift activities
- Collaborating to foster a warm, caring, and supportive environment
- Performing duties such as monitoring meals, shift handovers, bedtime routines, or observation completion
This role is ideal for someone passionate about making a meaningful difference, capable of strong team leadership, delegation, and organisation, and committed to the compassionate care ethos.

- Have 2+ years’ experience as a Care Assistant in residential care?
- Hold or be working towards an L3 NVQ/Diploma in Health and Social Care?
- Possess a caring, patient, and understanding nature?

Essential
- At least 2 years’ experience as a Care Assistant in residential settings
- Completed or currently completing an L3 NVQ/Diploma in Health and Social Care
- Compassionate and caring with a service-minded mindset
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to utilise IT systems
- Leadership abilities to supervise, motivate, and support team members
- Self-direction as well as collaborative teamwork skills
- Flexibility in adapting to unpredictable or varying shift demands
