We are now looking for a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated individual to join our award-winning team as a Senior Care Assistant - Nights at Knowle Gate Care Home, Knowle.
About The Role
As a Senior Care Assistant, your primary focus will be to support and work alongside the care team to deliver high standards of personal care. You will help create a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors, and staff.

Key Responsibilities Include:
- Monitoring the wellbeing of each resident, detecting any changes impacting care plans, and adjusting records accordingly to ensure all needs are met.
- Being actively involved in person-centred care planning, including implementation, monitoring, and conducting monthly evaluations.
- Supporting residents with their medication requirements.
- Undertaking staff supervisions and providing support for their professional development.
- Acting as the primary point of contact for residents, their relatives and visitors, as well as healthcare professionals.
- Ensuring reasonable requests are handled, and escalating any concerns or complaints.
About You
To thrive in this role, you must demonstrate our core values: caring, supportive, honest, respectful, and accountable.
Requirements for the Ideal Candidate:
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in care for care homes.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience working in a similar care environment.
- Strong communication skills—both verbal and written.
- A positive attitude with a genuine passion for supporting both residents and staff.
- Adaptability and flexibility to cover a range of responsibilities.
