The Opportunity

As a Senior Care Assistant, you’ll be a key leader, empowering residents to live active and independent lives while building genuine relationships and unforgettable connections.


Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership & Mentorship

    • Lead and inspire a team of Care Assistants, offering ongoing guidance and support.
    • Take ownership of the induction and professional development of junior staff.
  • Care Delivery & Coordination

    • Deliver exceptional personal and social care, enhancing independence and well-being.
    • Utilise our electronic care platform (Nourish) to implement and monitor personalised care plans.
    • Contribute to care planning, progress reviews, and quality assurance to ensure the highest standards.
    • Manage medication administration with strict adherence to policies and safeguarding protocols.

Requirements & Experience

We’re looking for candidates who bring:

  • Proven leadership as a Senior Care Assistant or similar role.
  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care, or a willingness to achieve this qualification.
  • Proficiency in medication management and compliance with legal/liaison duties.
  • A genuine passion for supporting others through outstanding care.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
  • The ability to prioritise tasks, engage residents compassionately, and balance workloads effectively.

  • Flexible contracts: Full-time (22h, 33h, or 44h per week) or part-time, including nights, weekends, and bank shifts.
