We’re currently inviting applications for a Senior Care Assistant working Nights at our Berkeley Lodge Nursing Home, based in Worthing.

Key Responsibilities
This role reports to the Nurse in Charge and ultimately to the Home Manager. Responsibilities include:
- Leading an enthusiastic care team, ensuring the delivery of clinical care, resident assessments, and precise documentation
- Overseeing Allocation of Care Assistants
- Dispensing medication to residents
- Acting as a mentor to new team members, ensuring smooth onboarding and support
- Ensuring high-quality personal care, including social engagement and mental stimulation
- Empowering independence by providing enablement-focused support
- Building resilient relationships with relatives to better understand and meet their loved one’s individual needs
- Assisting Care Assistants to ensure exceptional care delivery
- Completion of resident checks and routine documentation
Person Specifications
The role requires:
- NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or working towards it)
- A kind, caring, and empathetic approach to care
- Positive, energetic, and dedicated personality
- A genuine commitment to offering superior care services
- Teamwork and collaboration skills

Package & Operating Hours
- Rate of Pay:
- Weekdays: £14.06/hour
- Weekends: £15.47/hour
- Hours Per Week: 36 hours (including every other weekend)
