Senior Care Assistant – Fleet Hall Care Home (Hampshire)

We are now seeking a dedicated, warm-hearted, and enthusiastic individual to join our award-winning team at Fleet Hall Care Home.


About the Role

As a Senior Care Assistant, your core responsibility is to partner with the care team to deliver outstanding, personalised care. You’ll create an environment that is:

  • Safe, supportive, and inclusive for residents and visitors alike.
  • Open, innovative, and focused on continuous improvement.

Additional key responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring Resident Wellbeing
    • Observing changes in care needs and updating records accordingly.
    • Ensuring care plans are regularly reviewed and adapt to evolving requirements.

  • Person-Centred Care Delivery

    • Implementing and evaluating monthly care plans to tailor support to individual needs.
    • Collaborating with residents, families, and care professionals to refine and adapt plans.
  • Medication Assistance

    • Supporting residents with medication administration as required.
  • Staff Support & Supervision

    • Conducting staff supervisions and fostering professional development.
    • Providing leadership and mentorship within the team.
  • Communication & Advocacy

    • Acting as the primary point of contact for residents, relatives, and healthcare partners.
    • Addressing concerns, escalating complaints, and ensuring all reasonable requests are actioned promptly.

About You

  • Qualified:

    • Holder of an NVQ 3 (or equivalent) in Health & Social Care.
    • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar care environment required.
  • Skilled:

    • Demonstrate strong communication—both verbal and written—that builds trust and transparency.
    • Exude a positive attitude, nurturing both residents and colleagues.
    • Be adaptable and responsive to a range of responsibilities with agility.
