Senior Care Assistant Bupa | Richmond Village Willaston Richmond Village, 261 Crewe Road, Nantwich, CW5 6GX

In this Clinical Lead/Supervisory role, you’ll oversee a household’s daily operations, managing all aspects of clinical duties, including:
- Issuing medication
- Reviewing and updating care plans
- Ensuring meticulous record-keeping
Your leadership and expertise will also be pivotal in meeting Care Quality Commission (CQC) responsibilities, championing high standards of healthcare within our communities.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership
- Day-to-day oversight of a unit/household’s functioning.
- Responsibility for all clinical duties, ensuring consistency and accuracy.

Team Management
- Lead and supervise a team of Care Assistants.
- Coordinate transferable shift handovers to facilitate seamless service.
- Train and mentor new staff members, fostering a supportive induction process.

Resident & Family Care Coordination
- Build trusting relationships with residents and their families.
- Liaise with external healthcare teams such as GPs, District Nurses, and specialist service providers.

Personal Care Assistance
- Deliver a wide range of personal care tasks, adapting care plans to meet individual needs.
Requirements & Qualifications

Essential:
- Completed (or actively working toward) an NVQ Level 3 in Care (training support provided if needed).
- Experience in clinical care settings preferable.
- Ability to build,and maintain professional relationships with vulnerable individuals and their families.
- DBS check (existing/police cleared) – Bupa will cover the cost.

Preferred:
- Previous supervisory/management experience within healthcare or social care sectors.
- Familiarity with CQC compliance requirements.
About Your Environment
- Location: Richmond Village Willaston, Nantwich
- Contract Type: Permanent (Full-time)
- Salary: £14.25 per hour (competitive rate reflecting leadership responsibilities).
- Shifts:
- Day shifts: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
- Night shifts: 8:00 PM – 8:00 AM
