Bank Residential Senior Carer
About The Role
As a Bank Residential Senior Carer at a Barchester Care home, you’ll support our residents by delivering quality, person-centred care. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading and supervising a team of care staff, including delegating duties and providing training
- Supporting administration and ordering of medication, alongside updating resident care plans and conducting risk assessments
- Collaborating with GPs, district nurses, and family members to ensure holistic resident well-being
- Fostering a warm, welcoming, and vibrant environment while upholding the dignity and preferences of every resident

About You
To join us as a Residential Senior Care Assistant in a banking role, you should have:
- NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care
- Previous experience in a residential care setting
- Proven team leadership and decision-making skills to support resident needs
- A compassionate, warm-hearted, and committed approach to individualised care
- Willingness to work flexible bank hours (covering annual leave, sick leave, etc.)
