Senior Carer - Residential Care Home

About the Role
As a Residential Senior Carer within one of Barchester's care homes, your primary role will be to ensure our residents receive excellence in person-centred care, tailored to their individual needs. Your duties will include:
- Leading and supervising a team of care staff, including training, assigning shift duties, and delegating responsibilities
- Supporting with medication administration, checking stock levels, and ordering supplies
- Regularly reviewing and updating resident care plans and risk assessments
- Violating with GPs, nursing teams, and members of the residents’ families
- Ensuring every resident’s dignity and preferences remain at the centre of how we operate
- Contributing to a warm, welcoming, and vibrant community environment

About You
To excel in this role, weseek a candidate with:
- An NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care
- Residential care experience in a similar capacity
- Proven ability in team leadership and decision-making
- Commitment to providing dignified, compassionate and well-rounded care
- Desire to foster supportive relationships with residents and families
