Location: West of London/Hybrid โ 3 days/office
Contract: 14 months
Salary: To ยฃ65K plus Car Allowance and Benefits

Our client is a leading snacks company operating across 30+ countries. They're seeking an experienced Senior Category Manager to cover a period of maternity leave.
๐ฆ Position Overview
You'll act as the primary category advisor, building strong partnerships and embedding best-in-class insights across the business. This role involves translating customer learnings into commercial strategy, managing key data relationships, and ensuring cross-functional teams have the tools and knowledge to succeed.

๐ What youโll be doing from Day 1
- Lead category insights and commercial strategy for your customer account
- Analyse market data to identify risks, opportunities and growth recommendations
- Build and maintain relationships with internal teams and external data partners
- Communicate complex data findings to senior stakeholders with clarity and impact
- Support cross-functional commercial projects and initiatives throughout the year
- Ensure customer voice is represented in internal strategic discussions
๐ What we are looking for
- Degree-level qualification
- Proven category management experience in FMCG or retail environments
- Strong data interpretation and Excel skills for analysis and reporting
- Experience with market data software (Nielsen and Kantar essential; Quantium preferred)
- Ability to influence stakeholders across functions with credibility and gravitas
- Commercial acumen with strategic thinking and drive for results
